Finally, a sigh of relief..

Today was the really big day that the last pieces of the kitchen puzzle came together. Beautiful granite countertops were installed and might I say, they look very good. Lots of little details still to decide (fabric, fabric, fabric) but for now it is complete. I will post photos soon but I need a few minutes to admire!

Finally Photos...

So if you are not on Facebook or just not my friend on Facebook, here you go. There are different photos in both places because Husband takes them with messy counters and I clean them off first. Well actually, I move the junk from one side, take the photo and then move it to the other side. You get the point.

So much to blog, so little time...

OK, give me grief, lots going on. Lots should be in all capitals. Kitchen update coming soon. Great photos on facebook if you are a friend. I seem to like that better but for those of you who do not, you must wait for me to blog.

Amazing what I heard today. Did you know that the average family dinner only lasts 26 minutes, 80% of families have dinner with the TV on and 90% of families answer the telephone during dinner. Can you believe that? I listen respectfully to Rabbi Shmuley on Oprah radio and I can not believe some of the stuff he shares. Today he was talking about what influences our children and he shared these statistics. I believe in Family Game NIght, I believe in Family Dinners, and I believe in instilling Family values in my children. I am not trying to criticize because I know it is hard. We have not had a normal routine in our house for weeks but there is still one thing we do every night and that is we all go around the room and share what was our favorite part of the day. We all love it and we look forward to it. That alone takes us 26 minutes not to mention time to eat. Try it, you just might like it!
